Istán is situated 75 kilometres from Málaga capital. By car, the recommended route is to take the A-7 Mediterranean road until exit 176 and continue along the A-7176 until you reach the municipality.

Istán has less than 2500 inhabitants, but amongst those there are people of 25 different nationalities. The majority have chosen this paradise in order to live alongside nature, but also at only 15 minutes’ drive from Puerto Banús.
