In recent years Estepona has become more and more popular. Estepona is a lively yet peaceful Spanish seaside town, close enough to all the “hussle and bussle” on the rest of the Costa del Sol. Thanks to Estepona´s central location, other places like Marbella, Tarifa and Seville and even Africa can easily be reached.

The Estepona Marina is situated at the west end of the seafront promenade. This is a very pleasant place for a stroll and there are some magnificent boats moored here. There are also a wide variety of excellent bars and restaurants, open both midday and in the evening while younger revelers can enjoy the late night disco bars. There is a popular tourist market here on a Sunday morning.
Estepona has many monuments and museums that allow visitors to discover the history of the town in a few hours of walk. Starting from the church of the Virgen de los Remedios, built in the XVIII century; the Clock Tower, founded in the XV century and which is preserved in perfect condition, and the Castle of San Luis, built in the XVI century on order of the Catholic Monarchs.
One of the best leisure centres of Estepona designed for the whole family is Selwo Aventura, a zoo that becomes a kind of safari jeep that runs alongside more than 2,000 animals of 200 different species.The Contact with animals and large playgrounds make Selwo Aventura, a favourite plans for the younger ones of the house.
Golf enthusiasts will find in Estepona, a paradise for this sport: own, there are excellent golf fields: Valle Romano Golf, El Paraiso Golf Club, Atalaya Golf, El Campanario Golf, El Coto Golf and Estepona Golf Club.
Estepona offers to its visitors, a kitchen with clear sea flavour, thanks to its strong bond with the Mediterranean. Sardines on the spit (skewered on a stick and roasted in the heat of the coals) and a wide variety of species that are served fried are the stars of the menu of restaurants and bars on the beach.
